Me

Big fan of old personal computers and everything obsolete.

Still young enough to not value my time spent, which means I still etch my own circuit boards or wirewrap them.

Prototyping

Various methods which I use to build my own circuits. Mostly scuffed.

Wirewrap

The long lost art of stripping 30 AWG wire and wrapping it around a pin header.

Here are some pros:

and cons:

Mostly used in the 60's and 70's, where TTL circuits ran at 1 MHz and crosstalk wasn't much of an issue thanks to ''low'' clock frequencies. The example section contains images of same sided wirewrap boards, which you can easily build yourself at a low price.
